Branding & Persuasive Content Development
Today's brands and their brand architectures require a more diverse arsenal of creative solutions for a more fragmented channel landscape. Our Creative Content and Channel Strategy & Convergence Teams offer leadership in addressing today's consumer and positioning your brand effectively.
Whether you ask us to lead or pair us up with current agency partners, our Creative Content Team is capable of tactical executions that will resonate with the consumer and are as diverse as a traditional print ad, social media content or even high-end television production.
Channel Strategy & Convergence
Consumers are now taking a more active role in seeking information from the channels that best suit their lifestyle and personal needs. Some people still pick-up the newspaper, some read content online and some will even read it on their cell phones.
OPUS, our Channel Strategy & Convergence Team, works closely with our Consumer Insights and Technology Teams to remain current and ahead of these evolving channels. We do this in tandem with behavioral and affinity targeting in order to offer our clients sound strategy.
Channel Planning & Buying
Via our proprietary SMRA tool, our Channel Strategy & Convergence team will evaluate which channels most effectively reach your multicultural target consumer as well as how the target is behaving within a converging channel landscape. Our team has over three decades of experience planning and buying: traditional/digital media, sponsorships, events and promotions.
Traditional & Digital Direct Response
Whether it is through mail, broadcast or digital channels, our Analytics, Channel Strategy and Creative Content Teams create action-based creative within channels that offer the highest ROI. Our tracking and optimization models are at the cutting edge, making your direct response programs as effective and successful as possible.
Promotions, Events & Sponsorships
Part of our Channel Strategy Team, The RPM Group (Retail Promotional Marketing Group) breaks down brand-sales team silos and customizes programs on an account-specific level. Each program is crafted hand-in-hand to meet brand and sales objectives for both our client and the retailer.
Our proven technique arms sales teams with turnkey solutions for increasing ACV penetration and sales velocity. Ultimately, our integrated approach creates win-win-win strategy at all levels - from the brand to the retailer to the consumer.
In any given year, we develop and execute hundreds of record-breaking promotions, events and sponsorships throughout the U.S., having coined what has become known in our industry as the On-Air / On-Site event strategy.
Digital
Our digital team, named Synergage, specializes in developing persuasive digital content, creating applications and leveraging emerging technology to meet a brand's multicultural consumer needs.
We believe brands have personalities. As a result, Synergage develops Webinalities (our proprietary tool which develops brands' digital personalities) that encourage consumer affinity with brands.
We give the consumer what they want, where they want it, with options to get more and in the language they prefer. We embrace the reality of today's digital consumer and use persuasive content to engage them.

Heritage
The best way to predict the future is to create it.
We started our agency with $247, a shoebox and a bold imagination to create.Throughout our evolution, we became pioneers, innovators and sophisticated problem solvers. No small feat in a market that is dynamic and changing more rapidly than one can even imagine.
Along the way, we have created a legacy of many firsts by putting our clients first and by staying true to our mission.
Model
We embrace a model called CONVERGENT MARKETING SOLUTIONS. The model helps our clients embrace the converging consumer landscape in which minority groups have become the majority in the top 20 U.S. markets as well as the converging communication channels that they consume.
Within this unique model, our Creative Content Teams use a proprietary process called The 4th Dimension, a holistic approach that discovers new ways of connecting brands and consumers to their core purpose.
"The best way to predict the future is to create it." - George L. San Jose
Culture
We are a reflection of today.
We embrace diversity, excellence, innovation and respect. But most importantly, we embrace team. Sometimes (ok, always) the Latin beat at one of our quarterly employee parties leads to a Channel Strategy Team member showing off their Salsa moves. Sometimes a ping-pong ball gunfight will erupt between our Creative Content Teams. Sometimes our interns get lucky and actually hit the ball in our annual softball game.
But between the fun and games, we ALWAYS support one another professionally and personally. Only through this collaboration and the wisdom of the multitudes does our true potential shine.
People
The San Jose Group and its best-in-class divisions and business units are led by seasoned professionals and supported by multicultural leaders of tomorrow. We hire professionals that have shown leadership and expertise beyond what their tenure would normally deliver. And normally, we hire our entry-level positions from the top performers within our intern program.
On average our client relationships endure nine years where the industry average is less than three. Our people and their product are a reflection of that reality.
Nuestra Diferencia
The Power of Knowledge
With over three decades and 45 categories of experience, The San Jose Group, its divisions and business units are pioneers within the multicultural communications industry.

The Imagination to Create
If a client needs to get a Hispanic/multicultural program started, turned around or taken to the next level, they will choose The San Jose Group because of who we are, where we've been and what we've created.
Casa
Our office is a reflection of SJG's work principles and philosophy. From original works of art by a modern Mexican painter to Da Vinci's seven principles, our workplace is meant to inspire innovation and creativity. Attend a meeting in our state of the art conference room, brainstorm in our cozy blue room or have a fiesta in our sleek lounge.
We created Casa del Lago in Wisconsin to offer an inspirational and highly creative space where The San Jose Group staff and their guests could mix work and play. Guests come here to gather their thoughts, cleanse their souls and allow their ideas to emerge in an unrestricted,
liberating environment. Casa del Lago is a place to readjust the balance in your life.

What' s your talent?
Making a career decision is first a learning experience. What does a position with a Marketing Communications Group require of me? How can I creatively and intellectually impact the various divisions of this agency? What about Public Relations? Or Consulting? By exploring the different divisions at The San Jose Group, you can further pinpoint your own strengths and make new progress in your pursuit of a fulfilling career.
Account Planning
In its most basic form, planning is the 'who, what, where, when, why' decided in advance for a given project or situation. Our account leaders clearly define objectives and then defer strategic recommendations to specific department heads. This synergetic strategic approach ensures planning recommendations based on the combined wisdom of individual experts. Once these recommendations are compiled, our governing board meets to prioritize and select which will be included in our final recommendations.
Consulting
San Jose Consulting is the strategic planning and branding division of The San Jose Group, which works with our clients on the front-end of the marketing process. First the Consulting Division uses a patented system called Inside Out TM to help our clients assess their infrastructural needs, quantify their upside growth potential and lay the necessary groundwork before entering the marketplace. We then transform this intelligence into detailed, tactical plans that motivate the Hispanic consumer to purchase our clients' products and services, with the largest possible return on their investments.
